Wesley Sasser

Owner

Wesley began his career in the petroleum and petroleum transportation business shortly after graduating with a degree in business management and organizational development from Mount Olive University in 2006. He started as a dispatcher and truly learned the business from the ground. He was promoted to manager and eventually General Manager of a transport company which grew from 6 drivers to 26 drivers under his guidance. He was responsible for all operations which included hauling gasoline, propane and other products throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. He also managed emergency response and coordinated storm response work all over the east coast and gulf states during hurricanes, winter storms and supply interruptions. In September 2017, Wesley decided to strike out on his own and began Wolfpack Transportation with one truck, one driver, and one dream. Wesley currently operates Wolfpack Transportation and runs 12 trucks and 18 drivers hauling gasoline and adding propane to the mix in spring 2022. Wolfpack Transportation also offers storm response and has pump trucks available for unloading and emergency response.

DJ Williams

Sales, Business Development

D. J. began his career in North Carolina in 1989 managing propane and petroleum supplies, including transportation for one of the largest independent retailers in the state. He quickly learned that transportation of product was one of the most demanding challenges he faced. When that company sold in 2005, he landed with a major diversified energy producer based in Minnesota and was directed to develop a six-state territory marketing propane from various southeast supply points including the Dixie Pipeline. There he had met and exceeded his goals and decided to slow down a bit, taking a position with a large North Carolina trucking firm in May of 2014 as an account manager. Now he is happy to report to be working with Wolfpack Transportation LLC in a move to assist in growth to include more product lines. DJ understands the challenges our industry faces and looks forward providing service to our valued customers.
